Report – Fund ESOL; Don’t Scapegoat Migrants Demo – 27.1.16


Congratulations to all the ESOL teachers, students, UCU members from HE and FE, NUS, student nurses and other organisations who turned out in the rain last night to support the London Region UCU demonstration. The protest outside Downing Street called on Cameron to stop scapegoating migrants, Muslim women in particular, and to fund ESOL, following his comments last Tuesday.

Well done and thank you to everyone involved for helping to put pressure on this government to restore funding to ESOL and to stop blaming migrants and targeting Muslim women for its failed policies and war-mongering.
